Masterpiece of Gothic art, the Saint-Denis royal basilica is the cemetery of the French kings. The tombs of kings, queens, princes, princesses and important servants of the realm, all emptied during the French Revolution, feature magnificent funerary sculptures.
In May and June, the royal basilica hosts numerous classical music concerts during the Saint-Denis festival.
