Surrounded by ramparts and canals, the fortified town of Bergues is dominated by the silhouette of its belfry. UNESCO World Heritage Site, this bell tower possesses a carillon composed of 50 bells! From the top of this building, a beautiful view of the surrounding landscapes awaits visitors. The former pawnshop, a brick and stone building dating from the 17th century, houses the municipal museum of Bergues with a collection of Flemish, French and Italian paintings.
