Annonay is located north of the Ardèche department, 15 minutes from the Rhone Valley. This is the largest city and most populated of the Ardèche.
This city is called also "the city of inventors" has a very strong story. The hot air balloon is born with its two inventors Joseph and Etienne Montgolfier. Their nephew Marc Seguin is no exception either. Born in Annonay, he created the cable suspension bridges of iron and tubular boiler.
